Program Description

The ECC is an abbreviation for "Emigration Clearance Certificate", which in Chinese means "Immigration Clearance Certificate". This document is given to departing foreign nationals to certify that they have no adverse record or liability to other government agencies in the Philippines. 

There are two types of ECCs, the ECC-A (also known as the regular ECC) and the ECC-B.

ECC-A is for visitors who have been in the Philippines for six months or more and are required to leave the country.

ECC-B is for all Filipino working visa holders who are required to leave the country after leaving the company, downgrading their visa or cancelling their original work visa.

All Filipino permanent resident status holders must leave the country after cancellation of their immigrant residency status. ECC clearance is required prior to departure.

For those who meet the above criteria, the ECC clearance must be submitted by EasyGo before departure from the airport, otherwise they will not be cleared by Philippine Airport Customs.

ECC-A applicants must clear the ECC at least 3 working days prior to departure from the Philippines. Normally, the ECC-A can be cleared for departure within one month.

ECC-B applicants must be processed at least 7 working days prior to departure from the Philippines. Normally, ECC-B applicants can leave the country within one month after processing.

The actual number of days of stay is subject to change! Please check the Ecc approval after processing for details.

For those who are not leaving the country and need to stay in the Philippines for a long period of time, please apply for permanent residency (family immigration: Philippine mini-amnesty, amnesty, retirement immigration SRRV, investment immigration Sirv, etc.) or short-term visa: Philippine 9G work visa (valid for 1, 2 or 3 years).

 

Application Process

Applicant must be present at the application site and EasyGo staff will accompany you throughout the process.

⇒ Applicant must be present; EasyGo staff will accompany the applicant throughout the process

⇒ Submit the application to the General Bureau of Immigration

⇒ Fingerprinting and photo-taking at the immigration office is completed, follow the instructions of EasyGo staff before you can leave and go home

⇒ Notification of result approval → Customer payment

⇒Delivery or express delivery

1: Official Philippine Bureau of Immigration invoice fee + Php: 5,000

2: In case of overdue documents; fees will be added.

3: In case of overdue/years overdue/missing documents; fees are calculated separately.
