Philippine Immigration Service: It is recommended that long-term visa holders renew their new passports and update the procedures to the new passports.

The Immigration Department reminds the public that the Alien Registration Identity Card (ACR-ICard) is a registration certificate that is neither the basis for entry nor proof of immigration status for foreign nationals residing in the Philippines.

In view of the above, in accordance with the existing immigration laws, rules and regulations of the Philippines, in order to ensure seamless travel at international entry and exit points, it is strongly recommended that all immigrant and non-immigrant visa holders present a valid visa or apply for re-stamping on their current or new passport before leaving the country.

According to the current Philippine immigration laws, rules and regulations, failure to present a visa during immigration procedures may result in foreign nationals being denied entry or delayed departure.

None of the foregoing shall affect the applicable laws, rules and regulations governing immigration procedures in the Philippines
