1、 Special retirement residence visa (SRRV)
The Philippine retirement and Immigration Agency (PRA) is a Philippine national agency with exclusive authority to approve the special retirement residence visa (SRRV) issued by the national immigration service. China's legal citizens over the age of 35 and their family members can apply for this visa. With this visa, they can enjoy the visa, permanent residence right and tax-free preferential treatment for entering and leaving the Philippines for many times.
(1) Eligibility for a special retirement residence visa:
1. All foreign citizens (except citizens of countries without diplomatic relations with the Philippines and those classified as restricted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) can participate in the program when the applicant is at least 35 years old.
2. Applicant's spouse and son / daughter (unmarried under 21 years old)
3. Bank deposit requirements - the applicant needs to make a one month time deposit in US dollars by wire transfer or bank draft in a bank specified by the Philippine retirement authority. The deposit amount is as follows: for those aged 50 and above, the deposit amount is US $20000; For those aged 35 to 49, the deposit amount is $50000
(2) Documents for applying for a special retirement residence visa:
1. Philippine retirement authority (PLRA) application form;
2. Valid passport (valid for no less than one year) and entry visa;
3. No crime notarization (submitted by persons over 16 years old, valid for 6 months);
4. Notarization of physical health (valid for 6 months);
5. Marriage notarization (valid for 6 months), if the spouse joins;
6. Child / daughter birth certificate and notarization, if still dependent on unmarried children under the age of 21 of their parents;
7. Six 1x1 and 2x2 inch photos (white background and color) respectively.
Note: the above notarial documents must be in Chinese and English format, in duplicate, and sent to the provincial foreign affairs office or the Ministry of foreign affairs for authentication, and then to the Philippine Consulate in China for authentication.
(3) Time for applying for a special retirement residence visa
The applicant must enter the Philippines with a tourist visa, hand in the above documents and deposit the above funds, and issue a special retirement residence visa for the applicant within 14 working days after the documents and funds are completely correct.
Note: if the applicant wants to obtain a health certificate and a certificate of no criminal record in the Philippines for personal reasons, it needs to add 3-5 working days and the corresponding service fee. After going through the formalities, the applicant will obtain all the certificates issued by the Philippine retirement agency PRA and the SRRV special residence visa issued by the Philippine Immigration Bureau to become an overseas Chinese. All the above certificates and visas can be notarized by the presidential palace and the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Philippines and authenticated by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines. 2、 Special investment residence visa (sirv)
The Philippine investment agency is a Philippine national agency with exclusive authority to approve the special investment residence visa (sirv) issued by the National Immigration Bureau. China's legal citizens and their family members can apply for this visa. With this visa, they can enjoy the visa, permanent residence right and tax-free preferential treatment of entering and leaving the Philippines for many times.
(1) Eligibility for special investment residence visa
1. All foreign citizens (except citizens of countries without diplomatic relations with the Philippines and those classified as restricted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) can participate in the program.
2. Applicant's spouse and son / daughter (unmarried under 21 years old)
3. Bank deposit requirements - the applicant needs to open an account in a bank specified by the Philippine investment agency and deposit US $75000 by wire transfer or bank draft.
(2) Documents for applying for special investment residence visa:
1. Philippine investment authority application form
2. Valid passport (valid for no less than six months) and legal entry visa
3. No crime notarization (submitted by persons over the age of 16, valid for 6 months)
4. Notarization of physical health (valid for 6 months)
5. Marriage notarization (valid for 6 months), if the spouse joins
6. Child / daughter birth notarization, if still dependent on the unmarried children under the age of 21 of their parents
7. 1 x 1 and 2x 2 inch photos with white background and color (6 each)
8. Company name, registration and other investment certificates
Note: the above notarial documents must be in Chinese and English format, in duplicate, and sent to the provincial foreign affairs office or the Ministry of foreign affairs for authentication, and then to the Philippine Consulate in China for authentication.
(3) Time for applying for special investment residence visa:
The applicant must enter the Philippines with a tourist visa, hand in the above documents and deposit the above funds, and issue a temporary residence visa for the applicant within 30 working days after the documents and funds are completely correct. A permanent residence visa will be issued six months later. After going through the formalities, the applicant will obtain the sirv special investment residence visa and all certificates issued by the Philippine Immigration Bureau and become an overseas Chinese. All the above certificates and visas can be notarized by the presidential palace and the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Philippines and authenticated by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines. Ten years later, you can apply for naturalization and become a Philippine citizen.
(4) Investment reporting requirements:
As a special investment residence visa holder, as long as his investment exists, he has the right to live in the Philippines. He should submit a year-end report in the prescribed form to prove that his investment is still in the Philippines. If the investment is recovered from the Philippines, its special investment residence visa will be automatically terminated.
3、 Special permanent residence visa (sprv)
