The Latest Visa Processing Process for Foreigners to China in 2023

* Valid visas to China before March 26, 2020 are still suspended from entering China and new visas to China are required.

(1) Fill in the form online. All visa applicants please log on to the https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill in the visa application form online. After completing the form, please print out the visa application form and confirmation page, and submit it together with other visa application materials after I sign it.

(2) Online booking. Applicants holding ordinary passports are requested to log in to the https://avas.mfa.gov.cn to make an appointment to the embassy for processing time, and bring the application materials to the overseas Chinese consular office of the embassy to submit the application during the appointment period. the embassy will no longer accept non-appointment applications.

Persons holding diplomatic and official passports and applicants for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas do not need to make an online appointment. Please submit the application materials to the embassy.
