办理了SRRV签证之后,就可以在菲律宾工作吗?

Can I work in the Philippines after applying for an SRRV visa?

A: After applying for the Philippines' SRRV permanent residence visa alone, you cannot directly work legally in the Philippines.

In order to hold a legal job after holding a Philippine SRRV, in addition to a 9G job visa, there is another party that must apply for AEP, which is called Alien Employment Permit, which is what we often call a labor card. AEP, as its name implies, is a work permit for foreigners and is issued by the Philippine Department of Labor.

Whether holding a Philippine SRRV visa or a regular 9G work visa, foreigners need to apply for AEP if they want to work legally in the Philippines. Each issue is valid for 1 year, and the expiration or replacement work needs to be updated. The application fee is 9000 pesos, the renewal fee is 4000 pesos, and the card exchange fee is 1500 pesos. AEP will indicate information such as the employer's name and the holder's position.

SRRV is a long-term residence visa that allows you to stay in the Philippines for an unlimited period of time (equivalent to a permanent residence card or a green card). But if you want to work in the company, then you need to ask the company to apply for a labor card for you. After you have a labor card, you can work (this labor card is quick and cheap).
