NAIA Airport in Philippines was named one of the "most stressed airports for passengers" in Asia.

On November 26, local time, according to data collected by travel blog Hawaiian Islands, Nino Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in the Philippines was listed as one of the most stressful airports in Asia and Oceania (Oceania).

The blog analyzed more than 1,500 Google comments from more than 500 airports around the world, especially the expressions of stress in the comments.

According to data, nearly 58% of passengers passing through NAIA Airport feel pressure, making it the third most stressed airport in Asia and Oceania.

Vietnam's Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Tan Son Nhat International Airport) was rated as the most stressed airport, and 60.1% comments said it was stressful. The second is Australia's Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport). 59% comments expressed pressure, which may be due to extreme flight delays.

FlightAware data show that Sydney Airport ranks ninth among the most delayed airports in the world, with 34.2% flight delays between May 26 and July 19, 2022.

According to data, the most stressed airport in the world is Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom (Manchester Airport), which has 82.5% comments expressing pressure. In fact, four of the top 10 are in the UK (including Manchester) and the other five are elsewhere in Europe.

Most of the reasons behind the results are the shortage of personnel and long lines at the airport. The words "embarrassment", "shortage", "queue", "farce" and "Brexit" often appear in the comments. Manchester Airport apologized in April 2022 for the inconvenience caused by growing passenger demand.

Hawaiian Islands also found that Toronto Pearson International Airport (Toronto Pearson International Airport) is the most stressed airport in North America and the only non-European airport in the world's top 10. Its most delayed 52.5% flights were reported in Sydney. Delays occurred during the same time period.
