According to Philippine media reports, on the afternoon of November 16, the third group of Chinese arrested for participating in illegal online gambling were deported.

Seventeen people boarded a Philippine Airlines flight to Wuhan, China, Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansinko said in a statement.

Tansinko said Justice Minister Jesus Crispin Remula, Crispin Remulla, was closely monitoring the deportation's implementation.

"Those who are deported are automatically blacklisted by the Bureau of Immigration, effectively preventing their return to the Philippines," the bureau said.

The first group of six Chinese were deported in October and 21 others in early November.
