In the Philippines, if you want to drive, you must have a Philippine driver's license (you can also have an international driver's license). How can you obtain a Philippine driver's license? One is that if you already have a driver's license in China, you can convert your domestic driver's license into a Philippine driver's license. If you don't have a domestic driver's license, you have to go to the relevant departments to sign up for a driver's license test. The following is the process of taking a Philippine driver's license test summarized by EasyGo. Interested friends can refer to it.

Philippine driver's license examination process

1. First go to LTO(LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE) to apply for "Study Permit. A Philippine work visa is required and is valid for more than half a year.

2. Fill in the application form after LTO, submit it at the designated window, then conduct a simple interview, check your identity, and use your passport and work visa (yellow card and blue card). The interview takes photos, handprints, signatures, and then the fee is paid, within 200Peso, pesos and RMB, which is expected to be 8:1. Remember to listen to the radio when accepting it, if people don't have an hour to finish it. Please keep the tickets and student certificates for registration and will be checked later.

3. When you get a student's certificate, you start to apply for a driving test. There is a one-month study period in the middle. This month is mandatory. Can report to the driving school, if family and friends have a car, can practice independently, no accident is good.

4. The examination is divided into written examination and road examination. It is good to review the written examination by yourself. There are 40 questions in total, all of which are multiple choice questions, and the last 10 questions must be logo recognition. And these 10 questions are basically given points, because the walls of the examination room are covered with almost all traffic signs. The remaining 30 questions are also basic traffic rules, most of which are internationally accepted, such as: what do the solid lines, dotted lines and double yellow lines on the road mean? If the Chinese answer is wrong, they usually don't understand the meaning of the English question... Generally speaking, there will not be too much problem in passing the written examination. After all, 40 questions only need to be answered correctly by 30 questions, and 10 points are basically equal to sending.

5. The road test must be practiced. It is best to report to the driving school, because the driving school has vehicles and venues close to the test. The use of instruments and equipment, starting the engine, starting, decelerating, shifting, reversing... Different from domestic. I enrolled in a driving school and took a 5-hour class. The cost is 5000 pesos, about 400 RMB.

After 5 hours, I summarized:

(1) It is easy to stall when starting, either the throttle is not enough or the clutch is lifted too fast. Therefore, according to the secret taught me by the Chinese coach, I will settle for a few, one, two, three and then relax.

(2) I am skilled in shifting gears between the first and second gears, because I was training in the city center, and it was a weekend with heavy rain, which led to driving for 5 hours but did not even change gears once. There was also a super congested road section in the middle, which took half an hour to go and stop before leaving.

(3) steering wheel is not skilled enough, encounter a smaller curve a little annoyed... After learning the car, the rest is to apply for a formal driver's license... The location is also in LTO. If you attend the driving school, they will arrange it in a unified way and have someone to send you to LTO and guide you through a series of procedures.

6. After passing the written examination, the materials will be sent to LTO's road examination site. You just need to stay in the pergola beside the examination room and wait. At the road test site, there was a basketball court with more points. Several bends, several intersections and a ramp were repaired with cement. The examiner of the road test will have instructions, and you can do it according to his instructions, such as: acceleration, deceleration, stop at the intersection, continue to move forward, go uphill, go downhill, return to the original position... This can be done easily for me, who has only learned to drive for 5 hours. The whole process took less than 5 minutes, and finally the examiner told me directly "OK!No problem, I will pass you!"...

If it is not the time to wait, the driver's license test is three days and the cost is 600 RMB. In fact, the rules are dead, and so are the cars. Many people will say that there must be many traffic stories about the driver's license that came out so quickly. However, the Philippines has not seen many traffic stories, and people will probably have an idea of whether they can drive.
