01. Hong Kong cancels "hotel quarantine"

The Hong Kong government has greatly relaxed entry quarantine, canceled hotel quarantine and implemented "0 3", that is, only 3 days of home medical monitoring after entry!

The Hong Kong government has earlier introduced a "red and yellow code" for peace of mind travel. Once diagnosed during the quarantine period, a red code will be issued and it is forbidden to leave the quarantine site.

Non-diagnosed persons in home monitoring will be given yellow codes, and they can go out to a limited extent, including going to work, going to school, entering markets and shopping malls, etc.

1. Overseas and Taiwan arrivals do not need hotel quarantine, and change from "3 4" to "0 3 」;

2. Cancel the requirement of nucleic acid testing for passengers before boarding and change to quick testing;

3. Hong Kong residents who have not completed the vaccination can board the plane;

4. There is no limit for coming to Hong Kong and returning to Hong Kong, which is applicable to all places in the Mainland and Macau.

Inbound persons need to undergo nucleic acid testing at the airport, but do not need to wait for the results at the scene, and can choose their own transportation to go to home or hotel. If the airport nucleic acid test result is negative, a "yellow code" will be issued for safe travel, and a negative nucleic acid test result will be converted to a "blue code" on the 3rd 」. On the 0, 2, 4, and 6th days after entry, nucleic acid testing is required; on the 0th to 7th days, rapid testing is required.

As for the 48-hour PCR certificate before boarding, it is changed to 24-hour RAT, and Hong Kong citizens who have not completed the vaccination are allowed to board the plane.

02, peace of mind travel "red and yellow code 」

The Hong Kong government has earlier strengthened the "vaccine pass" function for peace of mind travel. From August 9, all confirmed patients will be divided into red codes, while non-confirmed patients who arrive in Hong Kong for quarantine from overseas and Taiwan will be listed as "yellow codes 」.

During the "0 3" period of home quarantine, non-confirmed persons will maintain a yellow code and can enter designated places and go out with restrictions. After the specified isolation period ends, it will automatically become blue code.

Travel at ease | What does "red and yellow code" represent?

"Red and yellow code" will be divided into three colors: red, yellow and blue. The "red code" is only for confirmed persons, while the "yellow code" is only for non-confirmed persons who have entered overseas and are subject to household monitoring, and most of the rest of the public do not need to be regulated. As to whether close contacts will be included in the "yellow code" restriction? At present, there is no arrangement for close contacts to undergo nucleic acid testing, and the scope of application of "yellow code" will not be expanded.
