Karlo Nograles, acting presidential spokesman and co-chairman of the IATF, said the country recognizes vaccination certificates from Argentina, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, Indonesia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Azerbaijan, Macao SAR and Syria.

He said it was in addition to other countries/jurisdictions whose vaccination certificates have been approved by the IATF in the Philippines.

The Quarantine Bureau (BOQ), the Department of Transportation (DOTr)'s one-stop service center and the Immigration Bureau (BI) were instructed to recognize all vaccination certificates approved by IATF, the Nograles said.

Earlier, Noglas said that all foreign citizens traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism can enter the country visa-free as long as they are fully vaccinated and show the required COVID-19 vaccination certificates and testing documents.

He also expressed his belief that the updated protocol would not lead to a surge in infections, provided all health protocols were followed.
