The Philippine government has allowed some foreign tourists visa-free entry since December.

On November 26, local time, the acting spokesperson of the Presidential Palace of the Philippines, Karlo Nograles, announced that the Philippine government will allow fully vaccinated foreign citizens from visa-free countries to enter the Philippines from December 1 to 15.

Nogras warned,Specific foreigners who want to go to the Philippines must meet the following conditions:

• Upon arrival, the passport is valid for more than six months and holds an exit ticket to return to the country of origin or to the next destination

No green countries and regions are allowed 14 days before entering the Philippines.

· Provide effective new crown vaccination certification

The following provisions will be implemented by the authorities at all ports of entry:

Passengers are required to present a negative report RT-PCR the new crown nucleic acid test within 72 hours before departure. This group does not need to accept mandatory hotel quarantine measures after entering the country, but passengers are required to self-monitor any symptoms within 14 days.

-Passengers who are unable to provide a new crown test report are subject to a 6-day hotel mandatory quarantine and a new crown test on the 5th day.

· Passengers who only transit in a non-green list country/region/jurisdiction, who stay at the airport all the way and have not been approved for entry, shall not be deemed to have come from or have been to that country/region/jurisdiction.

· The testing and quarantine procedures for minors should follow the procedures of their parents or guardians.

The effective new crown vaccine proves as follows:

1. World Health Organization International Vaccination Certificate (WHO-ICV)

2. VaxCertPH Philippine Electronic Vaccine Certificate

3. Electronic vaccine certificates of other countries or regions, provided that the foreign government has accepted and recognized the VaxCertPH certificate under the reciprocal arrangement.

"This is something we are doing step by step. If necessary, we will monitor the implementation while making appropriate adjustments. If we decide that we can extend this measure, we will extend it," Noglas said."
