Raid! 11 Chinese citizens arrested by the National Bureau of investigation in Guava Residence, Philippines!

According to Philippine media, on November 19, the Philippine National Bureau of Research (NBI) Task Force on Combating Illegal Drugs (TFAID) arrested 11 Chinese citizens in Guava Apartment (Guava Residence), Ayala Allah Subdistrict (Ayala Alabang Subdivision) on the evening of November 17, 2023.

According to the report, the National Bureau of Investigation team issued a search warrant to investigate whether the property and its occupants may have violated the "Comprehensive Management of Firearms and Ammunition Act" and laws related to gambling and immigration.

Reported that the Ayala Allah Village Association (AAVA) security department initially coordinated with the National Bureau of investigation task force. The raids began at 10:05 pm with the assistance of Lester Suntay, chairman of the Ayala Alapang (BAA).

It is reported that after entering the premises, officials of the National Bureau of Research found a total of 11 Chinese citizens, including 5 men, 5 women and 1 underage woman. Also present were three bodyguards, three family drivers and four Filipino stewards.

In a thorough search of the location, authorities found an unlicensed 0.45-caliber handgun with a magazine and six rounds of ammunition, a 9mm handgun with a magazine holding seven rounds, a switchblade, gambling paraphernalia, and found two sports car, a Lotus and a Porsche, and two vans, one without a license plate and three with fake AAVA stickers registered elsewhere.

It is learned that the tenant claimed to pay exorbitant rent of 600000 pesos per month but did not register a valid AAVA lease. All had their identification documents confiscated for verification by law enforcement databases.

The operation ended at about 2:25 a.m., and the National Bureau of investigation transported five male Chinese citizens, security personnel and drivers for further interrogation. The investigation into possible gun, gambling and immigration charges against the respondents continues.

The local authorities pledged their full cooperation in supporting the NBD's ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities and maintain security in Ayala Allah.
