Can I apply for a Thai work visa without an invitation letter?

Some of the applicants for Thai visas are always refused. The reasons can be said to be various, but most of them are due to material problems. It can be said that it is very important to prepare materials carefully. So, can I apply for a Thai work visa without an invitation letter?

Persons applying for a Thai visa need to choose a suitable visa according to the purpose of travel, while those who choose a work visa must provide corresponding visa application materials in accordance with the requirements of the Thai embassy if their purpose of entry is to work.

According to the list of materials for Thailand's work visa, the invitation letter provided by Thailand is one of the necessary materials. It can be said that if there is no such material or the visa material does not meet the requirements, it cannot be issued.

The invitation letter provided by the person applying for a Thai work visa shall indicate the name and position of the applicant, the purpose of coming to Thailand and the duration of stay; the name of the person signing the invitation letter must appear in the list of the company's board of directors and be stamped with the official seal of the unit and the guarantor's business card.

If the inviter signed by the Thai company on the invitation letter is Thai, he/she needs to provide a copy of his/her Thai ID card. If not Thai, a copy of his/her work permit should also be attached to the Thai visa page on the first page of the passport.

In addition to the invitation letter, the personnel handling the Thai business visa also need to provide the Thai invitation enterprise registration document (original), which should contain four contents: shareholder list, business license, company profile, balance sheet and tax bill, and need to be stamped with the official seal.

There are not many materials required for Thailand business visa, but we must ensure that the invitation letter meets the requirements and the above contents should be complete. If you do not specify the length of stay in Thailand, you will also need to provide a work permit (WP3).
