According to a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on October 22, two civilian ships and two coast guard ships in the Philippines broke into the waters adjacent to Renai Reef in China's Nansha Islands without the permission of the Chinese government, and ignored the warning of the Chinese coast guard ship.
