How to apply for a German work visa?

Because Germany is the largest economy in Europe and has a high per capita income, many people want to work in Germany, but they need to apply for a German visa to enter Germany. However, the embassy has strict requirements for a work visa. Because the stay period of a work visa is more than three months, applicants must apply to the embassy or consulate. What are the materials for a German work visa?

German work visa required materials:

1. Passport, valid for at least 3 months beyond the validity of the visa

3. 3 identical photos of recent biometrics on white background

Non-Chinese Applicants: Valid Chinese Visa or Residence Permit

5. The medical insurance certificate in Germany shall take effect from the time of entry until the statutory medical insurance starts after employment.

6. Complete resume in German

7. Work/vocational training/assignment or internship contract or corresponding offer in German (which includes income and social security aspects). In the case of an offer, a form of declaration of employment must be used.

8. Proof of education to date (e. g. university diploma, vocational training certificate) with translation into German

9. Proof of proficiency in a foreign language to date, such as a language school certificate, with a German translation (if any). It should be noted that some employment/vocational training positions have explicit requirements for German language proficiency, so proof of officially recognized language proficiency must be provided

10. A letter of proof issued by the current work unit and a German translation is required.

11. For students: If you are engaged in internship work related to university studies, you need to provide a certificate of introduction of internship positions from the German Federal Labor Agency.

12. If possible, submit a pre-approval from the Federal Labor Agency or the Office of Foreigners

13. The visa fee is 75 euros, which can be converted into RMB.

Tips:

In a single case, the applicant may be required to submit other materials. The embassy or consulate in China will cooperate with the foreigners administration of the applicant's future residence (if its consent is required to issue a visa). The expected processing time of the embassy or consulate is generally 6 to 12 weeks. During this period, please do not ask about the processing of the application.
