Foreigners entering and leaving the Philippines must not only bring an alien card but also ensure that they have this document.

The Philippine Immigration Bureau recently reminded foreigners and foreign citizens that the alien card or ACR I-Card issued by the agency is only used as a registration certificate, not a basis for entering the Philippines, nor is it an immigration status certificate for foreigners living in the Philippines.

In view of the above, in accordance with the immigration laws, regulations and regulations in force in the Philippines, and to ensure seamless travel at international ports of entry and exit, it is strongly recommended that all immigrant and non-immigrant visa holders present valid visa documents during entry and exit.

If required, foreign citizens should apply for re-stamping on their current or new passport or transfer of the old stamped record before leaving the country.

According to the current immigration laws, regulations and regulations of the Philippines, failure to present a valid visa at the time of immigration formalities may result in the foreigner being refused entry or delayed departure. All of the above provisions are without prejudice to the laws, rules and regulations applicable to immigration procedures in the Philippines.
