Notice! The Philippines simplifies the departure requirements for holders of such 9A tourist visas!

According to Philippine media, on September 7,Filipino immigrantsAccording to the Bureau (BI), the authorities are prepared to implement the simplified requirements established by the Commission of the Philippines Overseas (CFO) for departing Filipino tourists.

In a statement, Philippine Immigration Director Norman Tancinco shared working closely with the CFO to address common concerns.

It can be recalled that in May, the Philippine Immigration Bureau and the Chief Financial Officer signed a memorandum of agreement on the sharing of government immigration information systems, the report said.

The agreement aims to provide a simplified and more efficient means of processing, collecting, verifying and sharing the information required by the two agencies through system interoperability and real-time data sharing.

In a recent consultation, the CFO said that starting September 3, as part of its commitment to strengthen the provision of front-line services, holdingTourist VisaFilipino fiancés, spouses and other partners are no longer required to be guided by the Chief Financial Officer and Counseling Program (GCP).

However, the CFO clarified that the requirement still exists for Filipinos leaving the country with immigration or long-term permanent residence visas, fiance, spouse or partner visas, J1 visa holders traveling to the United States, and au pair visa holders traveling to Europe, which requires them to ensure the security of GCP before departure.

The Immigration Department stated that they are ready to implement the above policy improvements and communicate the above recommendations to all immigration officers at all entry and exit points.
