How to apply for a study visa in Russia

Certificate processing process

1. After the school is admitted, the school applies to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for a visa invitation letter;

2. Check the list of visa materials and fill in the electronic visa application form online;

3. Preparation of visa materials;

4. Submission of materials to Russian embassies, consulates or visa agencies;

5. Pay the visa fee and visa service fee;

6. Waiting for the audit results;

7. Obtaining a visa.

Electronic Visa Application Form: As of January 20, 2014, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the People's Republic of China will only accept electronic visa application forms for Russian visas (electronic visa application forms must be completed in Russian or English)

Visa Required Materials

1) A copy of the passport's home page (with at least two blank pages) valid for 18 months after the start date of the visa validity period;

2) A white color photo (2 inches);

3) electronic visa application form;

4) Invitation letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation ("yellow card");
