How to apply for a Thai pension visa.

Thailand announced the beginning of the implementation of the "pension visa" to encourage foreign retirees to Thailand pension, then Thailand pension visa (Non-OA) how to apply for it?

If you want to apply for a Thai visa smoothly, you must meet the requirements of the embassy and prepare it according to the published materials. Otherwise, you will be refused the visa. For the application, you can refer to the following requirements:

1. Requirements for age

Foreigners over the age of 50 (foreigners must have permanent residence in the country where the application is submitted).

2. There are requirements for income

You need to prepare a Thai bank account and proof of funds, proving that the account has at least 800000 baht (about 150000 RMB) or at least 65000 baht of pension income per month.

3. Handling place

According to the division of the territorial area, the applicant can submit an application for a pension visa at the embassy in China. You can also apply for a tourist visa first in China and then transfer a pension visa to Thailand.

(4) The medical examination report without the following diseases (including leprosy, tuberculosis, elephant leg, drug addiction and tertiary syphilis) issued by a regular Chinese hospital within three months shall be sent to a notary office for notarization in Chinese-English/Chinese-Thai and certified by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs before it is valid.

(5) Financial certificate: bank deposit certificate (deposit certificate with not less than 180,000 yuan and frozen for one year or more) or income certificate with monthly income of not less than 18,000 yuan

(6) Certificate of no criminal record issued by the public security organ of the place of residence within three months. The certificate must be sent to the notary office for notarization in Chinese-English/Chinese-Thai and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and Thailand before it is valid (non-Chinese applicants need to provide proof of no criminal record issued by both the country of birth and the country of long-term residence)

(7) All accommodation during your stay in Thailand. For example, for hotel orders during your stay in Thailand, the order should be marked with clear check-in information of the applicant, or an invitation letter with your signature issued by your relatives/friends in Thailand. The invitation letter should indicate the specific address during your stay in Thailand and attach the inviter's ID card or passport.

(8) Residence permit documents in China, such as identity cards. Foreigners should provide valid residence permits and English guarantee letters issued by guarantors or institutions in China. The guarantee letters should indicate the purpose of the applicant's visit to Thailand and the length of stay in Thailand.

(9) Outpatient compensation for medical insurance valid for 12 months shall not be less than 10,000 yuan and hospitalization compensation shall not be less than 100,000 yuan.
