The Philippines is a multi-island country with a very beautiful environment and many famous tourist attractions are among the top in the world. According to statistics, more and more tourists come to the Philippines every year. Our company has also received many questions about whether there are electronic visas and landing visas in the Philippines. The following is a detailed reply from EasyGo Easy Travel International:
Does the Philippines have an electronic visa?
At present, the Internet has become widespread throughout the country. It is convenient and fast to apply for visas online. Many embassies have also set up open electronic visa processing services, except the Philippines. Due to diplomatic reasons, the Philippines has not opened electronic visas to China. Currently, it is only open to Chinese nationals to apply for separate visas. Therefore, if you want to apply for Philippine visas, you can only apply for separate visas.
Does the Philippines have a visa on arrival?
A few years ago, the Philippines opened landing visas to our country. Therefore, Chinese nationals can also apply for visas directly after landing in the Philippines. However, Philippine landing visas have certain requirements for Chinese nationals, only for some people who meet the following conditions.
1. Group tourists organized by travel agencies legally certified by the Philippine Department of Tourism;
2. Businessmen sponsored by local and foreign chambers of commerce in the Philippines and other government agencies;
(a) the athletes;
4. Delegations to conferences and exhibitions.
Note: The ports that are open to Chinese citizens include major airports and seaports in the Philippines. Eligible Chinese citizens can get a 30-day stay period, which can be extended to 6 months. Landing visa only needs to apply 10 days before departure, and the applicant must hold a valid passport and return ticket.
Warm Tip: From the above, it can be seen that the Philippines does not have a policy of opening electronic visas to China, but landing visas were implemented in China a few years ago, but landing visas are only for a small number of people and are not involved in ordinary tourists in China. Therefore, it is recommended that applicants should also enter the Philippines after handling the Philippine visa in advance.
