What should I pay attention to after the Philippine ASRV visa is approved?

Date: 2023-06-12 PageView: 2203

In order to attract foreigners to the Philippines for investment, tourism, retirement and vacation, and promote the economic and social development of the Philippines, the Philippine government directly under the APECO Economic Zone has launched asrv visa.

菲律宾ASRV签证获批后,需要注意哪些事项?

Philippine ASRV visa, the world's most cost-effective permanent residence status, is favored by many middle-class families for its low input cost, short processing time, and simple continuous maintenance.

So, what are the precautions after the Philippine ASRV visa is approved?

About the input of fingerprint

The affiliated applicant cannot log in to the Philippine Immigration Bureau before the main applicant to complete the fingerprint entry. It is better for the main applicant and his entourage to go to the Philippine Immigration Bureau to record the fingerprint at the same time.

Note that if you cannot go to the Philippines to fingerprint and obtain an immigration identity card (red card) within 60 days after obtaining the SAR approval letter, the approved permanent residency status will be invalid.

If the applicant fails to log in to the Philippine Immigration Bureau to complete the fingerprint entry within six months after obtaining the PR card due to subjective or objective reasons, he or she can send an English email to the Philippine Immigration Bureau to explain the situation, but it is better to log in and complete the fingerprint entry within six months required by the Immigration Bureau.

Update on Red Card

After the ASRV visa is approved, there are two cards. The blue card is a visa issued by APECO, and the red card is an ACR I-Card (I .e. a foreigner's residence identity card required for foreigners who stay in the Philippines for more than 59 days). The back of the ACR I-Card is marked "indefinite-indefinite". The card is changed every 5 years and needs to be updated in person.

red card update note:

The cost of replacing the i-Card card every 5 years: US $60/person, which needs to be handled by the Philippine Immigration Bureau in person;

From January to March of each year, I must report to the Philippine Immigration Bureau and pay US $6 per person. If you cannot report for duty every year, you can report for duty every 5 years when you change your card. The supplementary fee is about US $100 per person.
