Who needs to apply for ECC-A?

A: The following foreign nationals must ensure that they hold a ecc-A before leaving:

Holders of a temporary visitor visa (also known as a tourist visa) for a stay of six months or more in the Philippines;

Holders of expired or downgraded immigrant or non-immigrant visas;

Holders with a valid immigrant or non-immigrant visa who intend to leave permanently;

4. A foreigner born in the Philippines who leaves the Philippines for the first time;

5. Holders of temporary visitor visas subject to expulsion orders;

6. Staying in the Philippines for 30 days or more and having a good faith seafarer officially approved by the Immigration Department.
