SRRV Process for Retired Immigrants in Philippines

Philippines immigration SRRV processing process:

The first step: complete the required documents and materials;

Step 2: Remittance to the PRA designated account of the Philippine Retirement Department;

Step 3: The Philippine Retirement Agency PRA receives a certificate of foreign remittance from the bank, and all applicants go to the Philippine PRA to apply for visas.

Other expenses:

In addition to the need to prepare a deposit of 20,000 or 50,000 US dollars, the registration fee is 1400 US dollars. For each additional family member (spouse or child), a handling fee of 300 US dollars will be added, and the handling fee will be paid in one lump sum.

There is also an annual fee of US $360 and a new card fee of US $10 per year. The maximum one-time extension is three years and the annual fee is 1080 US dollars, and the deposit cannot be withdrawn for three years.

If you deposit 50,000 US dollars and the funds are used to purchase real estate, you have to pay 3,100 Philippine dollars, about 60 US dollars (over 50 years old) or 7,300 Philippine dollars, about 148 US dollars (between 35 and 50 years old) per year before obtaining the real estate certificate.

Through SRRV, you can apply to be a Filipino citizen. According to the Philippine naturalization law, one of the basic requirements for naturalization is to have resided in the Philippines continuously for ten years.

The naturalization period may be reduced to five years if the applicant meets any of the following qualifications:

1. Noble holding of government office in the Philippines or working in any province, city, municipality or political subdivision.

Establish a new industry or introduce a useful set of inventions in the Philippines;

Married to a Filipino citizen;

4. Be a teacher in the Philippines for at least two years;

Born in the Philippines.
