Reason one: the steps are cumbersome

When handling electronic visa, the embassy requires the applicant to log on to the official website, register the information online and activate the account, log in to the personal account, fill in the information online and upload the electronic version of the materials, and make an appointment for the Thai visa time for submitting the materials. After completing the online, the applicant needs to go to the embassy to submit the paper version of the materials again.

Therefore, the electronic signature is different from others in that it is not only necessary to upload all materials online, but also to submit all uploaded materials to the embassy again, which is a complicated step.

Reason two: more materials

Compared with landing visa, which only provides on-the-job information and round-trip air tickets, electronic visa requires on-the-job information and asset certificates. Thailand has more visa materials and needs to prepare both electronic and paper copies for submission.

Sticker signatures can usually be issued within five to seven working days, but electronic signatures can only be issued after uploading.
