Answer:First of all, we must first define the qualifications of overseas Chinese students. There are two definitions of overseas Chinese students:

Hold a Chinese passport, and the candidate and one of his parents must obtain long-term or permanent residence in the country of residence.

2. A certificate of recognition of the long-term or permanent residence of the person and one of his parents in a foreign country issued by a Chinese embassy (consulate) abroad (Chinese version, which must indicate the continuous residence time in the country of residence and the actual cumulative residence time within two years), or the certificate of legal residence qualification in the country of residence (Chinese version, must indicate the continuous time that I and one of my parents have obtained the legal residence qualification in the country of residence and the actual accumulated residence time within 5 years);

3. the People's Republic of China passport. If you settle in a country that has not yet established diplomatic relations with our country, you must show the right of abode certification handled by the embassy (consulate) of a third country that has diplomatic relations with our country and its country of residence, and the embassy (consulate) issued by our country in a third country Certificate of recognition (Chinese version, must indicate the time of acquisition of the right of abode).
