China Announces Adjustment of Visa and Entry Policy for Foreigners to China

In order to further facilitate the exchanges between Chinese and foreign personnel, starting from 0:00 on March 15, 2023, Beijing time, the visa and entry policies for foreigners to China will be adjusted as follows:

1. resume the entry function of visas issued before March 28, 2020 and still within the validity period.

3. port visa authorities resume examination and issuance of all types of port visas that meet legal reasons.

4. resumed the visa-free entry policies for Hainan, Shanghai cruise ships, foreigners from Hong Kong and Macao to enter Guangdong, and ASEAN tourist groups to enter Guilin, Guangxi.
