It is reported that the person who was blackmailed was a Thai. On February 22, the foreigner posted this video on the Facebook. It is said that the OTS personnel of NAIA Terminal 2 were captured.

The first video shows two OTS staff putting something in their pockets after going through a security checkpoint.

The second video shows that the departing Thai national asked the security inspector (SSO) to return the 20000 yen (about 1022 yuan) taken from him. OTS personnel were also seen returning the money to the passengers and begging to "delete the video".

OTS leadership said it had identified the screeners involved: four were job order workers hired last year, while the other was a contract worker who had been on the job for about five years.

"We guarantee that OTS management will really guarantee that in OTS, we will really solve this problem more actively and will find other strategies to solve the problem."

The OTS also said its investigators were ready to file an appropriate administrative case.

Fourteen OTS personnel have been sacked and three others suspended since July last year. The OTS Legal Service is still investigating six cases.

The cases included violations of the agency's "no tipping policy", improper handling of intercepted prohibited items, extortion, rude behavior and the use of mobile phones while on duty.
