Chinese Embassy in Japan Releases New Policy for Returning to China

On November 14, the Chinese Embassy in Japan issued the latest announcement stating that there have been new changes in the procedures for returning from Japan on the 14th.

1. Complete a nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding, and apply for a health code through a negative test.

2. The inspection no longer needs to be carried out at the designated institution of the embassy, but can be carried out at any institution that files with the embassy or consulate in Japan and uses the inspection report in the format specified by the embassy or consulate.

4. After getting the negative report, prepare a copy of your passport and an air ticket or travel itinerary to China to apply for a health code. It is necessary to select the corresponding embassy or consulate to apply for a health code according to the consular area where the nucleic acid testing institution is registered.
