Hong Kong Relaxes Entry Nucleic Acid Testing Requirements from November 21! Attached is a summary of Hong Kong's routes back to the Mainland!

There is good news again when returning to China. Hong Kong's entry policy has been relaxed again, and direct flights and transit are extremely fragrant.

Latest Hong Kong Entry Nucleic Acid Testing Requirements

On November 18, 2022, according to the communiqué issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on November 17, the nucleic acid testing arrangements for arrivals from overseas regions or Taiwan will be adjusted from the 2 1st of this month.

Relevant persons only need to conduct nucleic acid testing on the day of arrival (that is, the airport "test release") and the day after arrival, and conduct rapid antigen testing every day after arrival until the seventh day after arrival. The current mandatory nucleic acid testing requirements on the fourth and sixth days after arrival in Hong Kong will be withdrawn.

After the adjustment, details of the new testing arrangements for arrivals from overseas regions or Taiwan (three years of age or above on the day of arrival) are as follows

24 hours before boarding: rapid antigen test;

Day zero (I. e. the day of arrival): "test release" nucleic acid testing at airport arrival;

The next day: nucleic acid testing by professional swab sampling at community testing centers/testing stations, temporary mobile sampling stations or at local medical testing institutions approved by the government at their own expense; And

Day 1 to Day 7: Take a rapid antigen test every day and get a negative result before going out.

Starting from November 21, for the relevant arrivals who have arrived in Hong Kong before the same day, if the mandatory nucleic acid test for the second day has been carried out as required, the mandatory nucleic acid test for the fourth and sixth days will not be required, but it is still necessary. After arriving in Hong Kong, a rapid antigen test will be performed every day, and a negative result will be obtained before going out until the seventh day after arriving in Hong Kong.

For those arriving in Hong Kong from the Mainland or Macao, their requirement for nucleic acid testing on the second day after arrival remains unchanged.
