Chinese Citizens Become First Trial Subjects of Indonesia's Electronic landing visa

According to a report by the Indonesian News Network on the 7th, the Indonesian immigration department began to pilot an electronic visa on arrival at Jakarta's Sukarno-Hada International Airport. Chinese citizens arriving in Indonesia became the first batch of trial targets. The policy will be officially implemented on November 9.

At present, citizens of 26 countries, including China, can submit electronic landing visa applications through the website of the Immigration Bureau in advance. After the application is approved, they can use VISA, MasterCard and JCB credit cards to pay online, and then download the electronic landing visa to enter Indonesia. Electronic landing visa is currently only applicable to Jakarta Sukarno-Hada International Airport and Bali Wulalai International Airport. Applicants need to pay 500,000 rupiah, which is about 250 yuan. They can stay in Indonesia for 30 days and can be extended to the Immigration Bureau for 30 days.

Like an electronic visa, an electronic visa on arrival can be used within 90 days of payment. Applicants can conduct tourism visits, government affairs visits, business visits, business visits, conference visits and transit in Indonesia.
