Female Chinese as Deputy Minister of Information Technology of the Philippines!

Lamen Zhiliu served as the assistant minister of the Ministry, responsible for communications media, international relations, and expanding cooperation among other countries. For example, the introduction of Musk-led Star Chain (Starlink) into the Philippines is one of her tasks.

Lamen Zhiliu said: "There is still a lot of work to be done in the efforts to increase the speed of the Internet and improve the digitalization of the government. As the Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology, I hope to provide more support to Minister Huang Yanguang in fulfilling the responsibilities of the department. (Committed to) improving our digital infrastructure and providing Internet connectivity for all our communities means creating more opportunities for Filipinos to live a better life. Although the task at hand will be more arduous, I thank President Marcos for his trust in me."

During Duterte's administration, Lamen Zhiliu was the chairman of the "Great Construction and Special Construction" committee under the Ministry of Public Manufacturing.

She graduated with honors from Los Angeles, Philippines. Wannius campus, obtained a degree in communication and development.

In addition, she majored in educational administration at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Economic Development and graduated from the University of the Philippines Law School.
