On November 6, an official of the Philippine Immigration Bureau said that the goal of the Immigration Bureau (BI) was to expel the remaining 345 Chinese who had worked for the illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) in December this year.

The bureau has expelled 27 of the 372 illegal POGO workers in China. The first group of six Chinese were deported on October 19 and the second group of 21 others on Wednesday. They were sent to Wuhan.

"We hope to maximize the implementation of the deportation operation to alleviate the overcrowding of our detention facilities."

The immigration department will deport only 372 Chinese, while nearly 49,000 other Chinese will be required to leave the country through the visa cancellation process within 60 days, so that the Philippine government will not have to spend money on their deportation.

The immigration department has ordered more than 1000 Chinese to leave. The Migration Board will initiate deportation proceedings against persons who refuse to leave the country.

It is reported that people who have worked in the closed illegal POGO company will also be canceled their visas and enter the Philippine alert list blacklist, unable to carry out immigration services such as visa reduction, customs clearance (ecc) and renewal.
