Good news! Filipino aliens report for duty all year round and can be completed at this Robinson mall next year!

On October 28, local time, Norman Chen Xenge, director of the Philippine Immigration Bureau (BI), announced that the annual registration of foreigners in 2023 would take place from January 1 to March 1, Tansingco. In addition to the headquarters of the Immigration Bureau and various regional offices, Robinsons Place Manila would be added as one of the handling places next year.

Chen Xingo and officials of Robinsons Land Corporation signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on October 25, listing Robinson Mall in Manila as one of the places where foreigners report for duty all the year round to ease the tasks and flow of people in the office of the General Administration. It is reported that the service hours will be from 9 am to 6 pm.

Under the Aliens Registration Act 1950, aliens holding immigrant and non-immigrant visas issued by the Immigration Service must report to the Immigration Service in person within the first 60 days of each calendar year.

"This means that foreigners or aliens who live, work and study here must report to the immigration office in the annual report. Foreigners who fail to complete the annual report may face fines, severe cases or deportation," Chen said."

Foreigners under the age of 14, over 65, pregnant women, disabled people, and physically and mentally incapacited are exempt from reporting to the Immigration Bureau in person, provided that proof is provided and an authorized representative is submitted to the Immigration Bureau.

Foreigners who report for duty all year round must present their valid passports and the original ACR I-Card.

On the other hand, Chen Xinge said that in addition to the Robinson Mall in Manila, foreigners can also register at offices and satellite offices across the country.

He concluded: "We thank the management of Robinson Mall for providing this opportunity to provide better services to foreigners and complete the perennial check-in process in a more comfortable venue. Improving services is one of the main objectives of this government."
