Yesterday, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines issued the "Notice on Further Adjusting the Requirements for Persons Going to China to Apply for Health Codes."

01, what has been adjusted:

The following (7) points have been roughly adjusted as follows:

1. The content in this article does not require hotel isolation before the trip, which is temporarily canceled by default;

2, the health code declaration data to cancel the "vaccine certificate" requirements;

3. Cancel the requirement of antigen detection 12 hours before the line;

4. Cancel the requirements of designated institutions for nucleic acid testing and carry out it in two different legal institutions;

5, close contact and other personnel isolation requirements changed to "5 days health monitoring";

6, have a history of infection after 2 weeks of recovery, no longer need 6 weeks;

7. Looking at the full text, the additional requirements for project personnel of Chinese-funded enterprises in the Philippines are also gone.

02. The original text is as follows

In order to further improve the prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and ensure the health and safety of personnel going to China from the Philippines, according to the latest domestic prevention and control requirements, the requirements for applying for a health code/health status statement (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "health code") for personnel going to China from the Philippines are adjusted accordingly, as follows:

1. testing requirements

(I) ordinary personnel going to China

1. All passengers going to China must undergo 2 nucleic acid tests (whether vaccinated or not) before boarding, and the results must be negative. The first and second nucleic acid tests are carried out within 48 hours and 24 hours before boarding the plane, and the two tests should be carried out at different testing institutions with legal testing qualifications in the Philippines.

After obtaining the negative certificate of the above-mentioned "double nucleic acid" test, please upload the materials to the health code applet as soon as possible, and the embassy will examine and issue the health code for passengers who meet the requirements.

2, health code declaration requirements

① Nucleic acid test report 2 times before boarding

② My valid passport/travel permit information page

(3) Air ticket or travel itinerary to China

(II) people who have had close contact with confirmed cases or asymptomatic patients, people with suspected symptoms, people who have had no effective protective contact with confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections, people with suspected symptoms, that is, people with positive nucleic acid tests, people with "uncertain" nucleic acid test results before boarding, people with fever, cough, fatigue, respiratory discomfort and other symptoms before boarding, health monitoring is required for 5 days. If the monitoring period expires and there is no abnormality during the monitoring period, the flight detection requirements are consistent with those of ordinary passengers.

(III) a person with a history of infection has a history of infection (has been diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, or although it has not been diagnosed but the nucleic acid test result is positive) personnel can only apply for a health code after 2 weeks of recovery:

1. After 2 weeks of recovery, the applicant must send the negative certificate of nucleic acid test before and after 2 times issued by the local legally qualified testing agency in the Philippines (the interval is more than 24 hours, and the cross-testing by different testing agencies) and the passport/travel permit information page to the embassy pre-trial mailbox (chinaembassy_ph@163.com) via e-mail, and the embassy staff will conduct review. The title of the mail should be marked as "My name, passport/travel permit number confirms the application for recovery".

2. The applicant can only start health monitoring and pre-trip testing after receiving the reply "through confirmation of recovery review" from the embassy email, and apply for health codes according to the corresponding materials requirements of ordinary personnel going to China.

2. Foreign Citizens Going to China The declaration of health status for foreign citizens going to China shall be implemented with reference to this notice.

The above adjustments are made according to the situation of the epidemic, the characteristics of virus variation and other factors, and will be adjusted dynamically in the future depending on the situation of the epidemic and the input situation. Please continue to do a good job of self-health monitoring for passengers going to China, pay attention to the protection before boarding and during the journey, and prevent boarding obstruction due to infection.

This notice requires formal implementation from July 9, 2022. Passengers taking flights after the above date are requested to comply with the above regulations. If the provisions previously issued are inconsistent with this notice, this notice shall prevail.
