On June 22, China Eastern Airlines' official website issued an announcement-"Warm Tips on Reminding Passengers Taking Manila-Hangzhou Flights to Pay Attention to the Latest Epidemic Prevention and Control Requirements"

In order to further improve the prevention and control of the epidemic situation and ensure the health and safety of personnel going to China from the Philippines, in combination with the requirements of the Notice on Further Adjusting the Requirements for Persons Going to China to Apply for Health Codes issued by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines on May 20, from July 2022 onwards, Chinese and foreign passengers traveling from the Philippines to China on China Eastern Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "China Eastern Airlines") flights from the Philippines must undergo four rounds of nucleic acid testing and an antigen test before boarding.

After completing the first round of testing, passengers will go to the designated hotel on their own with the negative nucleic acid report the next day for closed-loop management of the hotel 5 days and 4 nights before boarding. Passengers should abide by the pre-voyage epidemic prevention regulations throughout the whole journey. Passengers who have negative nucleic acid/antigen tests in all rounds before boarding and hold the "blue" health code issued by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines can board the plane. Due to public safety reasons, China Eastern Airlines only recognizes the test report issued by the designated testing agency on the designated testing date, time and place. During the isolation period, it is strictly forbidden for passengers to walk out of the door without permission, smoking in the isolation room, and ordering takeout without permission. All passengers who violate the relevant isolation regulations will be deemed to have abandoned their flight automatically once they are investigated and dealt with. China Eastern Airlines will directly cancel their flight seats, and the relevant losses will be borne by the passengers themselves.

Obtain test report and claim health code 5.

1. The test report will be sent to the passenger's email or the designated contact information. Passengers who fail the test shall, on the basis of the relevant positive test report, contact the original ticket issuing place to apply for a full refund according to the involuntary application; passengers who pass the test will be sent to the airport by a unified arrangement of vehicles by the East on the day of flight.

2. Passengers who have passed the pre-flight test shall apply to the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines for a "blue" health code based on (1) nucleic acid test reports 48 hours and 24 hours before boarding the plane, (2) the first page of their valid passport/travel permit information page, (3) air ticket or travel itinerary to China, and (4) project personnel of Chinese-funded enterprises who upload the "Letter of Commitment for Isolation Management" and other materials.

3. For all passengers who meet the flight requirements, please complete the following two declarations (1) China Customs health declaration and (2) Hangzhou health code declaration after completing the boarding pass processing and obtaining the flight seat number at Manila Airport, and fill in the Sampling Consent Form before getting off the plane according to Hangzhou epidemic prevention requirements.

1. Any situation that the passengers cannot board the plane due to their own reasons shall be operated according to the voluntary refund process of China Eastern Airlines. The nucleic acid detection and hotel isolation expenses incurred shall be borne by themselves and will not be refunded.

2. 3. After the first round of inspection, all passengers will be isolated at home in strict accordance with the requirements, and personal protection and health inspection will be done.

5. You must wear protective clothing, KN95/N95 (no valve) masks and protective masks throughout the flight. It is strongly recommended to wear higher-level protective equipment, including but not limited to goggles, medical gloves, etc., wear spare masks and disinfection wipes with you, wipe and disinfect passports and other items touched by others in time, and increase the frequency of hand disinfection. During the waiting period, high-risk behaviors such as group chatting, dining, and taking off protective equipment at will are prohibited.

6.
