According to Philippine media, on November 14, the Philippine National Police Anti-kidnapping Brigade (PNP-AKG) is currently looking for other possible accomplices in the kidnapping of two Chinese citizens arrested for three Chinese POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator) employees.

On November 10, the Megayan City Police and the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Brigade (PNP-AKG) rescued two Chinese kidnapping victims. They were the first companions of the kidnapping victim to escape from the kidnappers and report to the authorities. It is reported that the first victim jumped from the third floor for help.

On 4 November, three persons were abducted in Paranake city and taken to a neighborhood in Megayan city, Bulacan province.

According to the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Brigade, this is the first case of kidnapping of a POGO employee this year.

He said it was likely that the two arrested suspects had other accomplices as more personnel were needed to abduct the trio.

The two suspects have been charged by the Ministry of Justice with kidnapping for ransom and serious illegal detention and illegal possession of firearms, and are being investigated for other cases involved, the statement added.
