How to make an appointment to apply for a Canadian visa

According to regulations, starting from November 3, 2018, all biometric information collection at the China Canada Visa Application Center (CVAC) must be booked in advance. Some people want to know how to make an appointment when applying for a Canadian visa?

At present, Chinese citizens can make an appointment in a variety of ways before going to the Canadian visa application center, such as online appointment, telephone, email, online chat, and in person at the visa center. Applicants can choose the most suitable and convenient way to make an appointment.

Online Appointment: The Canadian Visa Application Center will need to collect the applicant's personal information for the appointment application for biological information collection. Successful applicants will receive an appointment letter with the date, time, location and relevant specific information. And the reminder will be sent to the applicant's email or mobile phone 24 hours before the appointment date.

Telephone method: If the applicant wants to make an appointment by telephone, the call center service personnel will provide assistance for the applicant's appointment application. After the appointment application is completed, the applicant will receive a confirmation email. If the applicant does not provide an email address at the time of the appointment, a confirmation text message will be sent to the applicant's mobile phone to confirm the appointment date and time.
