Can I apply for a Korean visa only through the agency?

Many countries have not only set up embassies in China, but also set up visa centers, requiring applicants to prepare materials and submit them to the application centers, which will transfer them to the embassies. Moreover, many embassies cannot receive materials without setting up application centers and can only submit them through entrusted agencies. Can they only apply through agents when applying for Korean visas?

The South Korean Embassy has nine embassies and five visa centers. Applicants can submit materials according to the territorial area divided by their household registration. If there is an application center in the territorial area, they can submit them by themselves. However, if there is no application center in the territorial area, they can only apply through the agent and cannot submit materials by themselves.

At present, there are application centers in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu and Wuhan. Applicants in these five consular areas can submit their own materials. Other consular areas can only entrust local travel agencies to submit materials. They cannot go to the embassy to submit their own materials. For example, in Beijing consular area, there is no application center and I cannot submit it.

Although the establishment of the consular area is different, the requirements for applicants to submit materials are also different, but the Korean visa processing time is roughly the same, generally eight to ten working days, after the emergency is four to five working days, the validity period of a single entry is 90 days, you can stay for 30 days or 90 days, or you can apply for multiple visas for five years or ten years according to the entry needs.

Therefore, South Korean visas have different requirements for submitting applications depending on the territorial area. The territorial area with an application center can choose to handle the application itself or entrust an agent to handle the application. However, the territorial area without an application center can only apply through an agent. Moreover, the requirements of the embassy may also be different depending on the territorial area. It is suggested that the applicant should know clearly the embassy requirements submitted by himself before submitting them.
