Relevant arrangements such as visa-free appointment for participants of the Canton Fair and Shanghai Expo

The 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair, Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2023, and the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE, CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. From now on, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines will provide the following visa facilities for participants:

1. free appointment processing. Applicants attending the meeting should refer to the relevant requirements of the embassy website "Instructions for Visa Application to China" (http://ph.china-embassy.gov.cn/chn/lsfw/zgqz/201208/t20120816_1335349.htm) to prepare basic application materials. Please submit the basic application materials directly by the applicant or agent without reservation during the working hours of the embassy together with the paper invitation letter of the Canton Fair or Expo.

2. provide urgent and expedited handling services. Applicants who need it can apply for visas in an urgent or urgent manner with the paper invitation letter of the canton fair or the fair (pick up the pieces on the 2nd and 3rd working days after submitting the materials respectively), and pay an urgent fee.

Third-country citizens 3. in the Philippines do not need to apply for a visa in their country of citizenship or habitual residence.
