How to divide the South African visa area

Many countries will set up multiple embassies and consulates in China. Some will also set up visa centers in order to better handle business. Applicants can choose to submit the materials to the application center and then transfer them to the embassy for examination. They will also divide the consular area and require applicants to submit them according to their household registration and passport issuing place. How can South African visas divide the consular area?

The South African embassy requires applicants to submit their applications according to their passport issuing places, I .e. the consular areas divided according to the passport issuing places go to the visa centers of their respective consular areas for submission. However, the country only has Beijing embassy and Shanghai consulate in China, so only Beijing and Shanghai consular areas are divided.

In addition to the two embassies and consulates, 11 visa centers have been set up in Beijing, Chengdu, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chongqing, Kunming, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Jinan. The application centers in the Beijing consular area are Beijing, Chengdu, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chongqing and Kunming. The centers in the Shanghai consular area are Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Jinan.

For the place where the passport is issued, the Beijing territorial area is the area except Shanghai. The Shanghai territorial area includes Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Fujian, and Guangdong.

For different South African visa centers, the external office hours may vary. For example, Shanghai will start external office on March 4, 2011, Chengdu and Guangzhou will start external office on August 28, 2015, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Jinan will start external office on May 6, 2016, and Chongqing and Kunming will start external office on May 28, 2018.

Therefore, South African visas are divided into specific consular areas according to the place where the applicant's passport is issued. Applicants must submit them in accordance with the regulations of the embassy, otherwise they may not be able to submit them.
