How to handle the simplest and most difficult Singapore visa transfer

Visa transfer means that the applicant's passport has expired and a new passport must be applied for if he wants to enter the country, but the visa on the old passport is still valid and needs to be transferred to the new passport. How should Singapore visa transfer be handled?

What is the visa transfer process?

Since the Singapore Embassy in China does not allow individuals to submit the visa, the materials must be submitted by the designated travel agency in order to transfer the visa. The applicant first needs to contact the travel agency in the consular area, and then prepare all the required materials to the travel agency. The travel agency will review them after receiving them and submit them to the embassy on the second working day after confirming that there is no problem.

The materials for visa transfer include two new and old passports, valid visa pages, application forms, photocopies of ID cards and photos.

How long will the transfer take?

After receiving the materials required for the Singapore visa, the embassy will usually complete the transfer within five working days. After the transfer, the new electronic issuance will be sent directly to the mailbox, and the applicant can use it as long as it is downloaded.

Will it change after the transfer?

Visa transfer only transfers the visa page of the applicant from the old passport to the new passport, only changes the passport number, and other information such as validity period, stay period and number of entries will not change.

Note: Singapore has only 35 days at a time and is valid for two, three and five years for many times. If the applicant holds multiple visas, the transfer can be carried out. However, if the visa validity days on the old passport are not long, the transfer is not recommended. The applicant can re-apply and obtain a latest valid visa.
