Philippine degree return certification process

With the development of society and economy, more and more Chinese students choose to study abroad. In addition to a small number of choose to stay abroad to work and live, the vast majority of Chinese students choose to return to the embrace of the motherland. In order to encourage the development of overseas students to return home, the motherland has promulgated a series of welfare policies for overseas students to return home, such as employment, settlement and duty-free cars. If international students want to enjoy these welfare policies, the most important prerequisite is to go to the Ministry of Education's service center for academic degree certification. Academic degree certification is not only used for employment, settlement and other aspects, but also an essential proof when applying for civil servants, large state-owned enterprises or foreign enterprises (promotion) and entering higher education institutions.

If the school is a public university, it is required to provide the certification certificate of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Philippines; if the school is a private university, it is required to provide the certification certificate of the Philippine Higher Education Commission and the Ministry of foreign affairs

2. domestic certification process

The domestic certification stage is relatively convenient and the whole process can be handled online, so it is only necessary to register and log in the online service hall of the overseas study service center of the Ministry of education, submit relevant materials according to the steps and pay the corresponding fees. (The time required for certification is about 15-20 working days)

The first stage: preparation of certification materials

Note: The certification materials only need to be uploaded online and do not need to provide the original materials.

1. Diploma certificates that require certification

Upload file format: pdf format, not more than 5M.

If the front and back of the certified diploma certificate have text patterns, the scanned copies of the front and back need to be provided!

What if the diploma certificate is lost?

Students need to contact foreign colleges and universities to apply for reissuing the certificate before submitting the certification application. If the school cannot reissue the certificate, they need to provide a copy of the certificate or degree granting certificate, complete transcripts during study, download the Statement of Diploma Certificate Cannot be Submitted, fill in and upload.

2. Passport and visa information includes the first and last pages, all visa records (including electronic visas) and entry and exit records during study.

The uploaded file format is jpg format, each file is not larger than 1M.

3. One recent ID photo (no background color)

Upload file format: jpg format, not larger than 1M.

4. Authorization statement (must be completed by myself)

Upload file format: pdf format, not more than 1M.

The authorization statement is divided into two versions--

Foreign General Edition: Applicable to most colleges and universities, but there are also a small number of overseas colleges and universities that have special requirements for authorized content. For details, please check the details on the overseas study government service platform.

Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Regional Edition: The overseas study party in Hong Kong must fill in the student number and HKID, if not, write no.

5. Other related materials

The uploaded file format is jpg format, each file is not larger than 1M.

Additional material may be requested depending on the background of some applicants.

Xiao Bian Reminder: The scanned and uploaded materials must be color scanned copies of the original to ensure clarity and completeness. If you need to certify multiple diploma certificates, you cannot upload multiple diploma certificates in one certification application and submit a separate certification application.

Stage 2: Online Application

1. Log in to the "Online Service Hall of the Overseas Education Service Center of the Ministry of Education", register a personal account, and complete real-name authentication.

2. After registration, apply for certification, complete the real person certification, obtain entry and exit records, fill in the application information and upload materials.

Note: Items with red * must be filled in, and other parts can be optional.

3. Online payment of certification application fees

Certification fee for academic degree certificate: RMB 360 yuan/piece

Debit or credit cards with the "UnionPay" logo can be paid.

The third stage: waiting for the certification results

The evaluation and review time of academic qualification certification application is usually 10-20 working days. You can check the certificate in "User Center-My Application". Academic qualification certification only provides electronic documents, which need students to print by themselves!
