Philippines SRRV retirement sign renewal will be changed to 2 years validity!

The Philippine Retirement Agency (PRA) recently announced that according to the document signed on May 9, starting from June 1, 2023, the agency will re-provide SRRV retirement visa holders with renewal services valid for two years.

Prior to this, the Retirement Department only provided renewal services valid for one year, causing dissatisfaction among some holders.

The Philippine Retirement Agency said that SRRV retirement visa holders must meet the following conditions when updating:

1. The amount of deposit necessary to meet the basic amount requirement in a bank approved by the Philippine Retirement Service.

2. Retirees who have already made investments or who have converted their savings into investments comply with the guidelines for the implementation of investments set out in Article VIII-A of the rules and regulations implementing Executive Order No. 2007.

The holder may complete the update in person, through an authorized agent or online.
