Mainland residents who intend to go to Hong Kong and Macao for family visits, work, study, medical treatment, litigation, property handling, etc., can submit to any public security agency's entry-exit management agency across the country for family visits, stay and other three types of endorsement. The application procedures are consistent with the place of household registration.

3. adjustment of the validity period of the stay endorsement for mainland students studying in Macau. The validity period of the stay endorsement issued by the entry-exit management agency of the public security organ to mainland students studying in institutions of higher learning in Macau has been adjusted from a maximum of one year to the same period of study in Macau.

4. the full resumption of rapid customs clearance at the port. On the basis of the resumption of border inspection and customs clearance adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao on January 8, in accordance with the pre-epidemic practices and standard requirements, Chinese citizens holding ordinary the People's Republic of China passports, permits for traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, permits for traveling to and from Taiwan, permits for traveling to and from the mainland for Hong Kong and Macao residents (valid for 5 years), and valid entry and exit permits for multiple times a year are allowed; foreigners holding foreign passports, permanent residence permits for foreigners, foreign e-passports and residence permits for foreigners of more than 6 months; Chinese crew members working on regular international flights and foreign crew members who can enter the country visa-free or have completed flight attendants, employment visas or residence permits for more than one year (including) can pass through the border inspection shortcut.
