The first day of the implementation of the Philippines e-entry QR code was very smooth!

The Philippine Immigration Department said on Sunday that no malfunctions were recorded on the first day of full implementation of the e-Travel system.

The Immigration Bureau stated that a total of 32000 inbound passengers used the platform that day, and 14000 outbound Filipinos used the platform.

The e-Travel system was fully launched on April 15, requiring outbound and inbound passengers to use this single data collection platform and began to discard paper entry cards.

The system was launched at the end of last year, but initially only for inbound passengers, and has now been expanded to cover outbound Filipinos.

The Philippine Immigration Bureau said that so far, the implementation is still very smooth, with no obvious failures or problems.
