Inventory of Saint Lucia Immigration Policy Changes to 2023

Following the New Deal in St. Kitts, Saint Lucia announced that the Naturalization by Investment Program also introduced new policy amendments, including: a reduction in the price of real estate investment options and the introduction of new government bond investment options.

Lower threshold for property investment options

The most significant change in the new policy for Saint Lucia's citizenship by investment program is the reduction of the minimum investment amount for citizenship through the property investment option from $300000 to $200000.

This price reduction makes the property option in Saint Lucia's naturalization by investment program comparable to other naturalization by investment programs in the Caribbean.

Launch of new bond investment options

The Ministry of Investment and Naturalization of St. Lucia announced that they will close the outbreak relief bond program on December 31, 2022, and that the program will not be extended further. As a result, the New Deal for the Saint Lucia Naturalization by Investment Program announced a new government bond investment option;

Investors can apply for citizenship through interest-free government bonds (starting at $300000, purchased and held for 5 years), regardless of the number of dependents in the application, with only an administrative fee of $50000.
