Philippine Immigration Bureau Launches New Preferential Policies for Philippine Visa for 157 Countries

The Philippine Immigration Bureau announced on Monday that visa-free national tourists coming to the Philippines for short-term travel will soon be able to extend their stay in the Philippines by submitting applications online.

Dana Krizia, a spokesman for the immigration department, Sandoval said in a television interview that the agency will launch an online application program before the end of this year to attract more international tourists to their home countries.

Sandoval said: "For tourists from 157 countries who come to their country for short-term travel without a visa, everything will become very simple. They can now extend their stay in their country by submitting applications online."

"This project is helpful to promote the tourism industry. It is very convenient and easy for tourists. We do encourage foreign tourists to make more use of this platform."
