澳大利亚过桥签有哪几种呢?

Bridge visas are divided into five types: A, B, C, D and E. The details are as follows:

Bridge Sign A(BVA)

This visa should be the most familiar one. For example, the applicant currently holds a valid substantive visa (such as student visa, work visa, tourist visa, etc.) in Australia. If he submits another substantive visa, he will automatically obtain Australian Bridge Visa A. The bridge visa will not take effect immediately, and will take effect automatically when the existing visa expires.

Note: Holders of Australian Bridge Visa A cannot enter Australia with this visa after leaving Australia. When BVA comes into effect, under normal circumstances, the visa terms are the same as the substantive visa terms previously held by the applicant, but in the end, the terms on the actual approval letter shall prevail.

Cross Bridge Sign B(BVB)

Bridge Sign B is applied when the holder of Bridge Sign A needs to leave Australia and return. Generally, a visa for 1 to 3 months is given for uncertain duration. If you do not return to Australia before the BVB expires, you need to apply for another visa and sign it before returning.

Bridge sign c (BVC)

If there is no substantive visa, if you submit another visa when holding bridge a, the immigration department will issue a bridge c visa to the applicant. after the applicant allows the current substantive visa to expire, the new visa is still under trial to legally stay in Australia.

For example:

Student A 500 that after the student visa expires, he has no English scores to submit a 485 visa for the time being. He needs to submit a domestic travel visa to 600 the category transition.

After the 500 visa expires, the applicant holds a bridge A visa before the 600 visa is signed and can legally reside in Australia.

After the students came out of the English test, they submitted the 485 visa application (before the 600 visa was issued), and the Immigration Bureau issued the bridge C visa at the same time. Bridge A and C exist at the same time, but only bridge A takes effect.

It is important to note that BVC usually does not have the right to work, and cannot leave and return like BVB.

If you want to work, you need to apply for a work permit from the Immigration Bureau separately, and you need to provide reasonable reasons, such as your financial difficulties, and you can't afford basic living expenses without income.

Bridge visa D(BVD)

Bridge visa D will only be issued to the applicant under very special circumstances, and the general validity period of the visa will be very short. This visa allows the applicant to stay in Australia to wait for a new visa or prepare for departure in Australia.

Cross Bridge Sign E(BVE)

This type of bridge visa is issued to people stranded in Australia who are preparing to leave the country automatically. The bridge E visa gives them a legal status to leave Australia before the specified date, or those who have passed the validity period of the visa or those who have been canceled by the Australian Immigration Bureau. Those who appeal within the validity period. Bridge visa E allows people without a visa to go through the formalities of preparing for automatic departure.
