According to Philippine media reports, as the Philippines continues to recover from the epidemic, the Presidential Palace of the Philippines has approved the recommendations of the government's inter-departmental anti-epidemic working group to relax the epidemic prevention and testing and isolation regulations for inbound passengers in the Philippines.

According to a memorandum signed by the chief civilian officer Bershamin on October 28, the presidential palace approved resolution 2 of the anti epidemic working group, but it still must strictly abide by other minimum epidemic prevention guidelines and corresponding laws and regulations.

According to Resolution No. 2 of the Inter-Agency Working Group on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), the current policy for entering the Philippines is as follows:

1. Fully vaccinated (two doses of vaccine for more than 14 days)

There is no need for any testing, just show the vaccination certificate. (Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin issued a memorandum on October 28, instructing the Quarantine Bureau and the Ministry of Health to determine acceptable vaccination certificates to avoid inconvenience to inbound passengers.)

2. Those who have not been vaccinated, partially vaccinated and cannot verify the vaccination status

  • ①. Antigen testing must be performed within 24 hours before flying to the Philippines and the result is negative, otherwise it will be tested upon arrival at the airport.

  • ②. The above antigen tests must be performed by certified healthcare professionals in healthcare institutions.

  • ③. This rule applies to unaccompanied and unvaccinated minors under the age of 15.

  • ④. Unvaccinated minors under the age of 15 must abide by the agreement to travel with their parents or guardians.

3. Any inbound passenger who tests positive for antigen must be quarantined

Any inbound passenger who tests positive for Covid-19 through an antigen test must be quarantined.

4. What else do Chinese tourists need to enter the country?

In addition to the above requirements, also need

  • 1. Hold a passport valid for more than 6 months;

  • 2. Apply for and obtain a Philippine visa;

  • 3. Provide valid return air tickets or valid air tickets to other destinations within 30 days after arrival in the Philippines;

It is worth mentioning that last week, the Presidential Palace of the Philippines relaxed the indoor "mask order", allowing people to voluntarily choose to wear masks in indoor and outdoor environments. (Masks must be worn on medical facilities and public transportation)

The Philippines has further opened up. Has such a loose immigration policy and epidemic prevention policy attracted you?
