Six-month grace period after Dubai visa cancellation

In most cases, the grace period for leaving the UAE after the cancellation of the residence visa has been increased to 60 to 180 days. The grace period (previously 30 days) depends on the type of visa.

Expatriates need to leave the country or obtain a new visa within a grace period after the visa is canceled.

According to the information shared by the typing center agent, the duration varies according to the type of visa. Based on the details they can access on the ICP system, the following are the classifications:

180 days

Gold visa holders and their families

Green visa holders and their families

Widows or divorcees

Students who have completed their studies

• Skilled professionals (level I and II in the classification of human resources and emirates).

90 days

-Skilled professionals (level 3 in the classification of human resources and emirates)

• Owner

60 days

Ordinary residence
